WHAT TO EXPECT

Ramble & Fell is yours to call home for a little while. Tucked away on a quiet country lane in the sleepy village of Blindcrake, our little Victorian farmhouse is a place to slow down, settle in and enjoy the quieter side of the Lake District. Expect peaceful mornings, views across the fells, the occasional passing farm animal and evenings spent beside the fire. The seasons bring their own kind of magic here, from long summer days exploring the countryside to cosy winter nights tucked up indoors. We love it all equally.

We welcome guests from all walks of life and hope everyone who stays feels right at home. We're fairly hands-off hosts and believe the best kind of getaway is one where you can make yourself completely at home. That said, we've put a lot of love into the little details, and we're always just a message away if you need anything, whether that's a recommendation for a good pub, a favourite walk or a helping hand during your stay.

A few things worth knowing before you arrive: Ramble & Fell sleeps up to four guests across two king bedrooms, and well-behaved furry friends are welcome too. We kindly ask that paws stay off the sofas and beds. As an old farmhouse, the cottage has its quirks, including stairs and a beautiful restored antique French bathtub, so please bear this in mind if you have particular accessibility needs.

Above all, we hope you arrive, take a deep breath and feel there's nowhere else you need to be.
