Nestled in the sleepy village of Blindcrake, Ramble & Fell is a little place to slow down, switch off and enjoy the quieter side of the Lake District. It’s time to breathe out.

Enjoy your mornings with a coffee overlooking the undulating fells, spend your days exploring the beautiful countryside, and return to cosy evenings gathered around the outdoor fire, toasting marshmallows (we provide those!).

Sleeping up to four, our cottage is a peaceful little retreat, with endless walks to discover and the nearest lake just a 15-minute drive away. Come in, make yourself at home, and stay a while.

    The cottage is a quiet get-away perfect for couples or small groups, furry friends welcome. Situated on a quiet back road with little passing traffic the stand-alone cottage enjoys a private setting in the sleepy village of Blindcrake. You’ll be left alone to enjoy your holiday in the Lake District.

    Our newly renovated kitchen is fully equipped for all your culinary needs and our guests can look forward to a few pantry essentials all supplied on arrival.

  • BATHROOM

    Our newly restored French antique bathtub has been on quite a journey to get to us and offers the perfect space to soak and unwind after a exploring The National Park. Bubblebath supplied.

  • BEDROOMS

    Two double bedrooms have been carefully curated for optimum comfort! Award winning Emma mattresses and soft linens entice you to slumber whilst morning sunrises cast views over the Skiddaw range.

  • LIVING ROOM

    Our cosy living space sits four guests comfortably infront of the woodburner with enough firewood supplied for one evening.

    For those long winter nights in our superfast fibre-optic wifi allows you to enjoy Netflix and other entertainment channels uninterrupted on our smart TV.

  • GARDEN

    We love spending nights in the garden by the fire pit, star-gazing unspoiled skies or cosied around the fire pit roasting marshmallows. The garden is private and fully secured.
