  • "This was our second stay at this gorgeous cottage, and it certainly won’t be our last! The location is perfect, peaceful and relaxing, yet only a short drive from Cockermouth, which has an excellent selection of shops, cafés, and restaurants. The cottage was spotlessly clean, beautifully presented, and felt so homely from the moment we arrived. Everything we could possibly need was provided, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the bath was a real treat after a day of exploring. We also loved spending time in the lovely garden, and the friendly chickens next door were such a charming bonus! Overall, it’s a wonderful place to stay, with everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing break. We can’t wait to return."

  • "The moment that we put the key into the door, we instantly felt that this home was magical. we were absolutely astounded by its beauty and charm. The cleanliness of the house was truly fantastic and it felt extremely cosy, very much a home away from home. Infact, we wish this was our home. The house had everything that you could possibly need and incredible fascilities. we were not expecting mountain views and that's exactly what we got! This is the most peaceful and private accomodation that we have ever stayed in and we will definately be returning in the future. I can't think of a single thing that dissapointed us because it was a joy from start to finish. We did have a couple of intruders on the property at times (Chickens) which we were extremely happy about as we love nature. If you love nature like we do, then this is place for you. No issues at all. Thank you so much for a beautiful and comfortable stay."
